This airbag system does exactly what I was hoping for. Now I can put a lot of weight on my pickup without having to straighten the leaf springs. I have suggestions: The cheapest way to buy this system is through Revain. I found it $100 cheaper than when I started looking for this product online. Follow the instructions and take your time. Double check each step before proceeding to the next. I started by checking my package against inventory to make sure I had all the items I needed. No extra screws, washers etc. Exactly what you need. I installed the valve stems so they now hold my rear license plate to the rear bumper. It was mentioned as a possibility in the manual and I wouldn't have thought of it myself - it worked fantastically. According to the user manual, the installation takes about 2 hours; However, it took about 5 hours - But I worked very slowly, checking everything I did to make sure I wasn't making any mistakes. Also, I don't have a garage or an elevator, so I had to crawl under a pickup truck to install it. I put a jack under the receiver hitch to raise the body a bit, but still couldn't get the wheels off the ground. There is a locking bolt that should stay in place once installed into one of the brackets. My "spring" bolt would not stay engaged. A lock nut is provided for this screw; However, I found that by using a regular lock washer with a regular nut (which I took from my personal stash) I was able to tighten the nut onto the "spring" bolt even though the spring bolt didn't stay locked. It didn't matter much. Attaching the brackets to the driver's side bags is slightly different than the passenger's side (at least on this model), so be sure to follow the instructions. Start with 5-10 pounds in each bag before gaining weight. Once the weight is on, you'll want to pump more air. PSI measures with a load completely differently than without a load. For example, if you put 30psi in each bag before adding the weight, the psi will increase significantly after adding the weight, and you don't want to go over 100psi. So be aware of that. Here, too, I am very satisfied and would have liked to have installed it on my pick-up many years ago. I have a 2002 Chevrolet 1500 HD. I hope this review is helpful.
