24 " Pushpin Swivel Counter Stool

These stools are great! I spent several months looking for stools for our new kitchen and finally decided to buy them. Since they didn't meet the requirements of Revain Prime, shipping was supposed to take 8-10 days but was still free. Instead the stools arrived in just 3 days! They were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. They were actually 24" stools but based on the model number of the stools that I have purchased (D542-124) and others that are on sale I decided to take an educated guess and do it and I got it right So, for those wondering, the last ones 2 digits of "24" is the height of the seat. These stools look amazing on my shelf height island. They are heavy, very durable and comfortable! I was concerned about how comfortable they would be as there were no other reviews online and our local Ashley store didn't stock them so I got to try them first. The wood is brown and slightly damaged. There are parts of the wood that are still a little rough as if it hadn't been fully sanded (but nothing major) which is what I wanted; nothing too smooth or polished. The metal ring around the bottom and the metal on the back are also brown. I have oil coated bronze faucets in my kitchen and they go really well with it. The leather seats have a nice feel and I love the nailhead detailing. My kitchen is black and brown. The island cabinets are black and the exterior cabinets are brown. While the kitchen looks a bit modern with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and oiled bronze fixtures, I used natural hickory hardwood and a great rustic table to add a touch of traditional style. These stools definitely help bring this traditional style to life. feel like you are on an island. Putting them together was easy. Out of the box, each stool only took about 20 minutes to assemble (and with the help of my 6 year old). A total of 17 screws are needed to assemble the stools. THAT'S IT! The eight screws fixing the feet and four screws fixing the metal ring must be tightened with the Allen key (supplied). The remaining five screws hold the chair back in place and can be tightened with a Phillips screwdriver. I can't say how well they will hold up with use as I just received them and assembled them this morning. I'll try to remember to come back in a few months and let you know how they are!
