I'm brand new to camping and this was my first small burner. I bought a full size Coleman propane lamp years ago, but it is VERY large for camping. I've used this burner to boil about 10 pots of water (very small pots, maybe 10-12 ounces per pot) and it boils water in about 30-60 seconds. You MUST ensure the burner is on a flat and stable surface, but that is to be expected. As an added bonus, Mallo included a free gift offer of a metal straw and cleaning product with proof of purchase. and once granted, they actually sent me some! With a straw + burner, this is unbeatable value for money.
