The 3M 1080 series is a real bargain. I had a few stone chips on my hood due to the thin/soft Tesla paintwork. Rather than repainting, I wanted to see how the gloss black 3M film would match the factory paint finish on the back of my Model 3. I am very happy with it. This was my first experience with vinyl wrapping and it took me less than 2 hours to make the hood myself. Looks like brand new paint! And if it ever gets damaged, I can just take it off and put it back on for less than $100. Wonderful. I'm also considering doing the front bumper.
