I bought this item and had to return it because it didn't work. There are carpets on the floor in my office. It worked for a hot second and when I moved it it stopped working. It only seems to work on hard surfaces. Very misleading as the description doesn't say so. They sent me a replacement and it was even worse. I bought it because of the heat and it only works at one speed. I'm not sure if he's big or small. I'm returning it and buying a different brand. And the packaging, are you kidding me? I thought no wonder it doesn't work, it's in a flimsy box. As much as it cost, they certainly could have invested in the packaging. Don't waste money or time thinking you'll get your money's worth. The advantage is that it is less noisy than most heaters.
