Bought these to replace the C7 (5w) bulbs we use in Christmas candles on our windows. The description said it was a 'warm' light (as opposed to cool light which is spectrally shifted more towards white/blue). I have to say that they don't match the color spectrum of other "warm" LEDs I've bought and tend to look more yellowish. Noticed this as the candles were behind blue curtains and the light emitted seemed greenish. In terms of brightness, they don't put out as much light at street level as 5W incandescent bulbs (probably because LEDs face upwards and rely on the refraction of a faceted bulb to shine down the road). Since the description doesn't give any information about the brightness, I can't really complain here. On the plus side, they use very little power and are long-lasting. I don't expect to have to replace a lightbulb every time a candle falls to the floor if the suction cup (which holds the candle against the window) fails.
