I have seven of these devices. In total I had 12 of these Palm One Zire devices. The one I received today had the same problem as another vendor. When you connect the charger to the device, the device turns on and works fine. I left the charger on for five hours and then removed it. The device could not be switched on. I bought a smaller Zire to replace the rickety M100. I read a lot of reviews, I want to note that this is NOT a PDA for advanced users. This is perfect for me, the busy mom who doesn't want to manually enter recurring dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.), who needs an easy-to-update, printable version of the monthly schedule for other family members and a place to store my personal contacts (less than 300) .
