At $14 for parts, this was a very good deal, especially considering how much I would pay Apple or the supplier to fix my iPad. My iPad's screen was completely smashed so I had to prepare carefully before going inside. Once inside I was fine, although I must stress that unless you are used to working with fine (almost microscopic, requiring a jeweler's loupe) electronics you should NOT attempt it, and be it for, you have the patience of a saint and a clean environment to put this repair at your hands. After completion, the "Home" button in the kit did not work. I'm not sure if it was my fault or if something is wrong with the kit. It didn't matter because there is a workaround for this in the iPad's "Settings". Apart from that and a few tiny blemishes I caused to the internal LED screen due to screen micro-fragments, my iPad has been fully restored. I am satisfied with the product.
