Bought a kit for my 2009 Tahoe Hybrid. I have an info center so just press "i" on the dashboard until you get to RELERN REMOTE KEY and hold it. You hold down the lock and unlock buttons on these key fobs for 15 seconds. They come with a battery, so you don't have to buy one from CVS. The instructions will tell you that after 15 seconds the car will beep to indicate the learning has worked. Mine didn't squeak, just count to 15 and try. When you relearn remote keys, it fully learns all existing fobs, so you want to press the learn button and then use all fobs at once. I now have 3 fobs, one on my keyring, one in a box attached to the receiver (when I surf I can lock the car and leave), and a spare. Pretty elegant.
