It does what it says on the tin
My use case. I connected my Chromecast Gen2 to my PC monitor but since the monitor doesn't play any sound I bought this audio extractor. I connect my Chromecast to this device and then to a monitor. I then use the audio jack to connect to the speaker to get sound. That does its job very well. The reason I deducted 1 star is mainly due to the sound reproduction. If I stream Spotify via Chromecast, the music is a bit quieter and the bass is almost inaudible. But if I change the source and connect directly to the same speaker via Bluetooth, the music sounds much fuller and the bass is stronger.
