I've worn them dancing and jumping around to be quite comfortable except where the light hits my foot. The rubber on the shoes kept the mud out better than the other pair my husband wore. Very light around the foot. I love it. A thicker pad for the LEDs also hope this helps with damage. The LED worked about 3-3.5 hours when fully charged in flash mode.
