The filling is quite good. I love the gold color I chose. Bought 6 to put on my 6 dining room chairs where we usually eat. The problem is that the little balls on the bottom that are supposed to be "non-slip" do absolutely nothing to keep them in place on my wooden chairs. Pillows are fine as long as you are seated and not moving. When I stand up, I have to hold him or change his position to keep him straight. The pillows I've had before were definitely non-slip, but not as soft as these. I will keep them anyway, they are not optimal for my needs.
