Worked great for a couple of weeks. After that, the cars could not climb the slopes and did not respond to the remote controls. The cars became noticeably slower. We had to disassemble the track and make an oval out of it, but the cars are still very slow. We tweaked the track layout many times to make it work better. The caterpillars have never broken, although they have been disassembled several times. A little more than I imagined. It takes up all the floor space in my son's bedroom.
