Natively accurate, tends to remain at approximately 40 psi increments after a year of use, regardless of actual line pressure reading of 20 to 50 psi. This replaced a leaking 10 year old gauge. The best I can say about this product is that it hasn't leaked yet. tapping the case will increase the value (reading) on the dial to within 5 psi of the actual pressure in the pipeline. In practice, there is no need to squeeze the sensor to force it to give an "almost" accurate reading. The sensor is placed after the sediment filters and pH neutralizer, so intrusion of "garbage” should be minimal. Luckily I double checked this gauge before I pressurized the well.
