This vibrator is probably very good if used only for muscle or joint pain. It has quite a lot of patterns and the vibration speed is quite strong. The silicone material feels comfortable and makes it easy to grip. The keys are barely raised, so as others have pointed out, they're hard to see in the dark, even with the keys dimly lit. However, we have two main problems, one of which makes it unsuitable for use in an intimate setting. First, there is virtually no difference between 8 speeds. Ours seems to be the quickest to launch and slows down a bit with each button press, but then again it may be our imagination - the difference across the range is very small. The second issue, which is a key factor, is that at around speed #5-8, the vibration in the head also spreads to the entire shaft, causing the entire block to vibrate severely. Sometimes it stops the shaft from squeezing, most of the time it doesn't. As you can imagine, in a tricky moment, having your hand vibrating like that uncontrollably is quite distracting. Our workaround is to just leave it at one speed and one pattern, but that really limits its use. We have read many reviews and this brand seems to be of good quality in general. But apparently this is not always the case. We gave 2 stars because it seems good enough for a traditional muscle massage, no more stars because it doesn't work in the bedroom.
