Of course they are suitable for teenage girls to play volleyball but damn they fight with my skinny knees. I'm a 6ft 4in middle aged male with skinny legs, I'm sick of it. I wear them to work. Sometimes I have to work on my knees. I leave these things on top of my calf and pull them on when needed. Nobody knows I wear them under my work pants. You are low. It is great. I wear them on my calves just below the knee because it's more comfortable that way. I wear them on my lap all day but they itch under my knee so I put them on my calf when I'm not using them. When needed, I just put them on my knee. That's easy. If they fit comfortably around your knees then they are great for protecting your knees. Do you use them if I made a living flooring? Probably not. I have arthritis in my knees and have used a lot of knee pads. Gels always explode. Hard shells are not suitable for all surfaces. And the shaped ones are uncomfortable. are an asset to my needs. One reviewer uses them for his cleaning business and now I feel like my knees are winning as much as theirs.
