Fall apart after a short use

They do their job perfectly - don't roll on them and cause no discomfort although I was concerned because they were only one size. However, she has worn them PERHAPS 5 times and they are already falling apart. This is her first year playing volleyball and it's not very competitive since she's only 11 years old. It's just for fun and she hardly moves. Of course, never dive. I trimmed the tag VERY carefully, so while that may have been the cause, you can see I didn't even get to the edge of the…

Get the job done but too tight.

I ran with them because I stumbled too many times. Yes, that's a separate issue, but these knee pads seem to protect me until I figure out how to fall less. The padding is substantial. I'm male, 5'10", 170 lbs and they fit just right. Maybe too snug. I notice them for the first 10-15 minutes of running but then forget about them. In the attached photo you can see the dents that they leave behind, which isn't so bad If I was running at speed - or if my hips were a little bigger - I might look…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Reliability

I would also recommend them to anyone who needs to wear them.

Will not hold, slide, alter, burn or leave marks. I am 5ft 4in and weigh 135lbs. I use them under winter pants for snowboarding. They don't offer the same protection as hard knee pads used in skateboarding, but they offer enough protection to reduce the "oops". when you fall on your knees I would also recommend them to anyone who needs to wear them under clothing all day (e.g. house cleaning, kneeling to fix floors or carpets, etc.). You forget you're wearing them - they're comfortable to wear…

Perfect for wearing under jeans for work

Of course they are suitable for teenage girls to play volleyball but damn they fight with my skinny knees. I'm a 6ft 4in middle aged male with skinny legs, I'm sick of it. I wear them to work. Sometimes I have to work on my knees. I leave these things on top of my calf and pull them on when needed. Nobody knows I wear them under my work pants. You are low. It is great. I wear them on my calves just below the knee because it's more comfortable that way. I wear them on my lap all day but they…

  • Absolutely stunning!

  • There are problems

PERFECT for the house cleaner!

I do housework and when I kneel down to clean under the sofa or coffee table, my kneecaps hurt a lot. I've tried a foam garden cushion but it's awkward to carry around and you don't get much range of motion if your knees are on the same cushion instead of separate. Then I tried a pair of garden foam knee pads but they were green and very big so they looked silly and took up a lot of room in my bag. THEN I bought these ASICS knee pads and they are PERFECT! They are not Velcro, you have to put…

Pros
  • Great general job

  • I will be silent
