My friend was looking for waterproof sandals, we were in a hurry so I didn't read the reviews. I have purchased Columbia branded products in the past and have been happy with the quality so it didn't bother me. I had to look at the ratings, they were too small for him. We are his typical shoe size and his toes are hanging forward and I doubt the size will fit. I'm also disappointed with the quality. Although we sent them back and couldn't test them, they felt cheap and not durable. The positives: they arrived very quickly and returning them to Amazon was a breeze! If you are looking for men's sandals I would recommend Keen's Targhee. They are more expensive but the quality and fit are top notch.
