After reading other reviews of weighted comforters I decided on Luna. (I've bought two now, one as a gift) I like that the material is natural cotton and the beads are not plastic. The material is cotton, so it's lightweight yet durable. I've been using this blanket for about 3 months. I struggle with insomnia, restless legs, joint and muscle pain and have read that a weighted blanket can help. Honestly, I hardly ever have sleepless nights these days. The blanket is not too heavy, but heavy enough. I've gained 15 pounds, technically too heavy for my weight according to research, but I love my comforter! Before I had this blanket, I would stay up until 3am many nights due to insomnia and pain. Now, usually half an hour after falling asleep, I'm already asleep! It soothes my restless legs and really relieves muscle and joint pain! The blanket is durable and holds up well. Absolutely worth the money.
