Violet medium. I am 5ft6 and 138lbs. I fit in well, but I have small breasts. If you need chest space I would definitely go up a size. Also, the zipper goes to the waist, making it difficult to put the dress on alone. Violet is beautiful, it is real purple chalk, amethyst color or purple pansy. The satin skirt has double pleats in the front and back to conceal the bulge in the stomach while still keeping the hips slim. It's long, I can do without 2 1/2" heels. Satin material is opaque and feels comfortable, heavy. I'm planning to wear it in late May (outdoors), although probably best for fall, winter .The lace bodice is lined and the smooth jersey lining with spaghetti straps blends perfectly with the lace.There are no built-in cups, so a strapless or nude bra is best.The lace doesn't itch, the sleeves are 3/4 narrow but not tight. This is a formally modest look, I love that it has a nice long keyhole in the back, but it's not a low open back.
