Do not buy this if you are looking for an absorbent pad. I bought these because they clearly state they are absorbent pads. After putting the drink on the coaster with ice today, the liquid pools on top of the coaster and is not absorbed at all. I lifted the stand and the water that had pooled at the top flowed everywhere. I am very disappointed as I already have coasters but bought these because my other coasters are not absorbent. These coasters have the same problem as my other more attractive and less expensive coasters. I am extremely disappointed. I will not buy this brand again.
