Review on Cat Design Signare Tapestry Hobo Shoulder Bag with Slough Purse for Women (HOBO - CAT) by Josh Akin

This large bag is said to be made in Surrey, England, but it feels tough and cheap like it was made in China. The tapestry pattern is very cute but I have a tapestry bag with a 12 year old cat by Laurel Burch and it wasn't that stiff. It also has a removable cardboard base covered in material to keep the base flat - or not. This Signare bag is not what I expected at all. I've looked everywhere for tapestries - not many people make them these days. I would happily pay more for this bag if it was a REAL tapestry like carpet bags used to be made. Also - the pockets inside the bag are for show only - nothing fits in two open pockets except maybe a lipstick. The zippered pocket, which should reach the bottom of the wallet, is very small - anything put in it will sag in the pocket. I don't understand all the 5 star reviews - this is not a quality product. It's also quite large, so if you carry makeup, books, an iPad or whatever with you every day then this is a good size, but if you've depreciated the value of items in your wallet over the years , this one is too big. I am thinking of giving it to my daughter for a knit bag. So sad it wasn't what it seems.
