Review on Enhanced Safety with Toeeson 120DB Door Window Alarm: Protecting Kids & Homes by Robert Kimble

I bought two packs for our house and stuck them on every door and window. They are easy to install and very, very loud. The only problem we had was that one of them had "melted". The bedroom window was exposed to direct sunlight for most of the day and eventually the bond between the mechanism and the sticker failed. The sticker/mount did NOT fall off or move, but the actual part of the alarm moved away just far enough to go off. just let me tell you When it happened it was 2am and HOLY. SHIT. We haven't gone to bed in over an hour. It's amazingly intrusive when you're sleeping, but you can't help but hear it or it won't deter an intruder. They were installed within 20 months (until we moved again) and apart from this window we had no problems. If you have a window that gets hot and stays hot, you should reinforce the actual alarm mechanism in some way. The hubs were covered with military tape to keep them from moving.
