As one person noted, when the ladder is fully extended (mine is 20ft) the ladder is very heavy and can be difficult to manoeuvre. When attempting to lower the ladder to work elsewhere I first pryed the ladder off the wall as usual, but the extra weight at the top made the effort combined with trying to raise and unlock the step a difficult one and sometimes frustrating task. . However, I find that this is offset by the solid construction, 24" spacing and the added stability with the ladder fully extended since I have a 24" overhang on my roof. Simplify the painting of the facade.
