Inaccurate description.
If you need 3/8 NPT x 3/8 JIC this is for you. Unlike 3/8 JIC with 9/16-18 threads, this fitting has nothing to do with 9/16-18 SAE, which is a fairly common pilot port/sensor fitting. 9/16 SAE has a flat face rather than a crown like the JIC and is sealed with a flat face and an O-ring. I had to upgrade from 9/16 SAE to 3/8 JIC and this adjustment was a waste of my time and money.
