Well it works as an intermediate cage but my 55 pound full of energy lifeguard chewed up the cage. Yes, while working he went through a metal cage and made the door look like Salvador Dali did. I think a normal dog would have trouble getting out of this cage, but not my rocket ship beast. Many patches now and he's still holding out, but sooner or later he'll end the life of this unit. I was looking at used armored cars and thought they might work. Have fun with it, so have fun. Oh I would give 5 stars but the door, even brand new, had alignment issues.
