I use this inverter to power the laptop (and external monitor) that controls my ham radio. I mainly work in CW or digital modes); and a few well-placed ferrite beads would probably cut what little RF interference I see. I've also experimented with powering the radio with 110v through this inverter and putting the radio in 60w transmit mode. It worked, but it was only a brief experiment, as I knew that the power required from the inverter exceeded what it could continuously supply. Of course what I wanted to test was the shock resistance and it was able to deliver that. The inverter looks well made from the outside and looks very good. I didn't remove the covers to look inside, but since it passed my initial tests and works well, I'm guessing the inside is as good as the outside.
