The brakes themselves are quiet and do the job. I originally installed them on my car (2016 wrx) after installing them on my wife's car (2016 Terrain). My wife had no problems but I had a lot of them. First, the creaking came from my rear driver's side, which sounded like metal on a rotor running at my tire's speed. I thought I hadn't put the gasket in properly, so I put back the ones that came with my car, lubricated them and drove on. The audio is back. I took the tire off again and changed the pads, thinking they might be on the piston side and I missed the fixed side alignment when installing. The noise was still there, and now the pads had very uneven wear that was shaping the rotors. I was 90% sure it was because the pads and spacers didn't match and when I braked the spacers slipped into the rotors. I finally removed the washers and the problem was gone. Not a fan 12/30/19 - Went to check and failed because these pads actually broke in half. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for seals
