Rugged, quick response to levels, easy to read

Wow, this sound level meter isn't just "durable" (I dropped it removing its mount from about 6 feet off the ground). concrete floor and it survived and still works!) I've compared the sound readings from the app I have on my iPhone 7 Plus and another sound level meter I have and all three are very close in sound levels that I'm following a specific problem I'm working on. The video I added shows the clock (with light gray letters I use to show the time and date with audio levels I record with my Sony camcorder. The actual sound level meter was the red numbers in my video.) What impressed me. Aside from being dropped and hit, I'm impressed with the quick response time when audio levels switch from soft to very loud. It adjusts and reports the sound level very quickly. The numbers are very easy to read in bright light as well as in complete darkness. It was easy to install on a pole I made (seen in my video) and easy to attach to two screws I drilled into. Wood. This sound level meter comes with a tiny CD which I believe is software for using the sound level meter with a computer. I don't need to use my sound level meter in this way, so I can't comment on the merits of the software in combination with its use for tracking/data analysis. One thing, however: the supplied USB cable is about the same length. Cat tail, and I had to buy a 10ft USB cable to make it work on my pole. I suspect most people will find the included USB cable too short.
