Bought as a gift. The recipient loves the device and uses it every day. Makes volume control on your computer very easy. Although it does not use the headphone function, it is ideal as a control device. The long cable also makes setup easier.

Did exactly what I wanted. About 3 months. The sound started coming and going on one side of my headphones plugged into the device and I verified that all headphones did. It has an "input" (green connector) that switches between two "outputs" (black connector and headphone jack) when you press the button.
