One of the cheapest SPL meters with C meter I don't have a comparison either but it helps a lot when comparing the sound levels of different speakers in the house.

SPL meter point must be accurate. It's not calibrated or shipped out of the box so it's useless. You should find someone with a calibrated SPL meter that you can calibrate for reference. What the hell?!

For a cheap meter for home use this is a very good product. Does exactly what it says on the tin and is a lot better than trying to set up a 5.1 or 7.1 acoustic environment by listening to test signals with your ears. Featured!

Very handy kit. I used it to calibrate my home theater settings and found that my rear Atmos speakers were too quiet. This alerted me to the need to boost the external amplifier driving them and when I did they reached reference levels as did other speakers which made the overall soundscape so much better. Here are all the important factors you need to set up your home theater - weighted, slow and different areas. I love that it also has a tripod mount (remember to set it up so it's pointing straight up).
