Review on CM130 🎧 Galaxy Audio Sound Monitor by Mike Goodwin

Very handy kit. I used it to calibrate my home theater settings and found that my rear Atmos speakers were too quiet. This alerted me to the need to boost the external amplifier driving them and when I did they reached reference levels as did other speakers which made the overall soundscape so much better. The automatic calibration (YPAO for me) didn't recognize this and just made the best of what was available. I used this sound pressure meter to set all speakers in the YPAO set (configuration 7.4.2) to the reference level after calibration and it made a big difference. I definitely recommend keeping one of these on hand for home theater calibration.
