It's easy to fill a beanbag with the right technique

I bought two packs of Big Joe beanbag fillers. I am very happy that I made this decision. It was the first time I filled our bean bag after years of my kids jumping, tripping and wrestling on a badly flattened bean bag. I took the advice of others and planned to put the beans in a bag. I cut the corner of the pocket just enough to fit a roll of paper towels, and then glued the pocket to the roll of paper towels. My 8 year old helped open the bag. Let gravity do its job and the grains will fall easily into the bag. We passed the first bean station and had to open the second. This time I used half a paper towel roll and it allowed the beans to flow even faster. We only had a small setback. I wanted to fix the refill pouch and didn't notice the height of the paper towel roll in relation to the full refill pouch. Small beans began to gush out of the cardboard tube. Luckily, I reacted quickly and stopped the flow of small kidney beans. The rest of the refueling process was a breeze. I enlisted the help of my 6 year old to pick up the stray beans and put them in a bean bag chair. We went through a bag and a half to fill up. Remember to gently shake the bean bag a few times during the filling process to help the beans settle. The beanbag bulged again. My kids say it's comfortable. Let's see how long a beanbag stays snug if two children sit on it every day. I definitely recommend Big Joe bean bag fillers. With the right technique, a little help, and patience, you can easily bring your beanbag back to life without a complete mess.
