We made a 14 hour drive in our Chevy Express passenger car with two young children in car seats. We only used the middle bench on this trip (3 in total). However, only the front seat has attachment points for the car seat lock. I didn't want to use the seat belts just to hold the car seats in place since it was such a long drive. I bought 2 of these straps, one for each car seat. I attached the strap around the seat frame so each end of the strap would go through the seat where the anchors would normally be. Both of our car seats are Graco Contender 65 harnesses, only had to tilt them a little to fully close them. But it was easy to connect and disconnect.
