I read some product reviews. My Experience: I installed this pulley with the shorter bushings that came with it, but found that the pulley was misaligned with the other pulleys. I noticed a lone bright metal disk in a bunch. I removed the pulley myself, put this washer (now I know it's a gasket) on the spindle and reinstalled the pulley. I started it. Everything is fine except for the squeak I was trying to avoid. Okay, I squeezed the tensioner and removed the belt again. I removed the pulley again. I removed the bearing seals with a sharp knife and oiled them like hell, balls and everything else that moves. Install the pulley (with washers on the bolts) and replace the belt. I started it. Still creaks. Okay, I decided to live with that and put my lube in for 15-20 miles. It worked - no more creaking or rattling.
