These are pretty good boat shoes. However, they have two qualities that I don't like, hence the four stars. First, the inside of the shoe is fabric, not leather, or at least not faux leather. Leather works best, especially if you wear shoes barefoot, because it allows your foot to breathe. I wasn't aware of that when I bought the shoes, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought them. Second, the front of the shoe is square and not curved like most pumps. This makes the style of the shoe somewhat edgy and unattractive. On the plus side, if you don't mind the boxy look, this is a decent looking shoe. They are also very comfortable when worn with socks. They fit exactly as expected. As for pumps, I have a perfect 8.5D when I want to wear shoes barefoot and 8.5W when I want to wear shoes with socks. I ordered them at 8.5 watts and as expected they are perfect for socks. I've only been wearing the shoes for about a week, so I can't comment on the durability of the shoes. I will update this review if I encounter any issues of this nature. I will say that apart from the style issues I mentioned, the shoes appear to be very well made and beautiful just upon close inspection. RDB.
