Review on 🏞️ YARDGARD 308212B Silver Fence: Durable 24" x 25' Perimeter Barrier by Tim Burns

In the photo, the right bracket is on the end of an old 4" x 8" joist that was placed on a concrete wall as a windowsill for my garage. Roof. I couldn't drive the strut deep because the wood is hard. This is probably the heartwood of a pine, which is as hard as an oak. But the squirrels gnawed through the tunnel. A 1/4 inch piece of mesh stopped them. I bought 25' because it's a good material to have on hand. Annealed wire is incredibly soft. I cut with EMT scissors. They are curved so that the handles are above the level of the material to be cut. The next time I cut wire from a spool, I'll use a ruler and marker to draw the cutting line. Then I don't have to ask myself whether I'll stay in the same row.
