Review on Stadea SWP101K: The Ultimate Variable Speed Wet Polisher Grinder For Concrete Countertop & Stone Polishing by John Hashman

Amazing Polisher! Buy it!

Purchased this after much research. I was looking for a wet polisher to polish a concrete countertop to a glass like surface. I'm not a professional so I wasn't looking at spending $500 on one but I also read horrible things about the $90 ones. I tried borrowing a friends cheap one but it wouldn't even turn because of rust and loose gears.I love this thing! I used 50 grit through 800 and it held its own all them. I used a thick slurry to fill voids created by too dry of a mix and this thing powered through it without a problem. Water flow was good and unlike some other reviewers, I had zero issue with the water connections. The GFI plug is a must and this has it. The 'D' handle is great and that's what I use to make it easier to polish the edges easier. The soft start is real nice and the narrowed hand grip by the trigger is much more comfortable than the boxy or tubular hand holds of most other grinders. I used a 5" backer with the 5" Stadea pads and would absolutely recommend it.

Pros
  • I use this machine for cement glass counters
Cons
  • I have less than 3 hours using it and the gear drive is failing. It is beyond usable.
