Review on Enhance Your Tablet Experience with the ZAGG Hinged Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard and other Essential Accessories by John Koch

I purchased my first Zagg Folio keyboard case on August 31, 2016. To date I have received 7 warranty replacement parts from Zagg for the exact same issue. After some use, sometimes a week, sometimes several months, they all break at the loop between the part of the case that holds the iPad and the keyboard (as shown in the attached photo). I think after the sheer number of replacements they've released, Zagg can figure out the underlying issue and fix it. Apparently not. Now providing 7 hassle-free warranty replacements is impressive on one hand. On the downside, it's a lot of hassle and each replacement costs $9.99 for shipping paid directly by Zagg and the actual shipping cost of shipping the broken case back. I just did the math and my 7 replacements cost about $130. Add in the original purchase price and the total cost of ownership is somewhere north of $150. I'm looking for the best option. In my defense, aside from the "hinges will break" issue, this is a great keyboard case. The backlight, the battery life and the protection it offers are fantastic. If Zagg solved the durability issue I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
