I bought this to replace another bluetooth transmitter I had. Fur. This one is way better. This block is much smaller than my previous one. This is very important as my outlet is right next to the switch on my speaker on my truck. Bluetooth connection is good but annoying when you first start the truck. It activates automatically when I turn the key to the accessory position and then deactivates when I start the truck. It will reconnect by itself, but it takes a while and it's faster to connect to the transmitter manually. Another complaint I have is that the bass boost has to be turned on every time. This is a minor complaint but I thought I'd mention it. However, it's a nice feature that helps improve sound quality through my standard speakers. I only use this for music, but the transmitter also works for hands-free calls. When the phone rings, the caller's number is announced over the radio. I also have no idea how well this works since I don't use the feature. Aside from the two issues mentioned, this transmitter is great. It's small, easy to use, and sounds good, at least through the stock speakers. If you're looking for a cheap and efficient way to connect your phone to your car, this should work.
