After more than a year of relatively stable use, the copper colored upper chamber has started to peel and chip. So it turns out that the upper part is covered with veneer - this is not copper, and not even a copper-colored stain. As far as I know, I poisoned myself with this rotting product. I'm so sick of wasting my hard-earned money on products that aren't even made in this country, only to have them fall apart and end up in a landfill or in the trash can. Companies that make these products are part of the problem, not the solution. It wasn't the cheapest moka pot I could buy. Did I mention I felt ripped off?
