Apparently very poor quality.
I brought this in February but only started using it in June. The device seemed to work fine at first, and after about the second week or so it just stopped. It's still glowing red, indicating power, but it's just not making any sound. I even tried swapping out the fiber optic cable to see if that made a difference. To answer the question of whether or not it has a volume control! Well, it doesn't exist at all. The installation is quite easy.
