First, the clip has four holes at the bottom that are meant to be screwed into the mount, but they are unthreaded. So, with due care, you can force the clamp tight. Of course, it becomes easy to strip or cut the hole so the clamp doesn't stay in place. There's no way to screw it tight enough that it won't move. The biggest complaint is that everything is plastic and comes off so easily. I found it impossible to hold the reflector anywhere but up and hang straight down. Any attempt to move the reflector to the side will result in the clamp pointing down. For me it's useless. I rarely need a reflector that points up and down with no angle. I strongly recommend avoiding this clip and getting a stronger one.
