I like using this bed in the crate for my puppies and then as a dog bed out of the crate once they get older.

It's fairly sturdy, soft, and lasts if you take care of it. I can't speak for the red style, but the khaki and teal colors are durable and stand up to puppy chewing and digging (though maybe not if you have a high chewer).Pros:- the bed itself is chunked memory foam, so when puppy digs, it doesn't ruin the bed- the bed provides adequate cushion for dogs with hip/knee issues (such as the puppy I have now) and does not go flat- cover is easily removable and washableCons:- any accidents will immediately soak into the memory foam through the cover.- you can use hydrogen peroxide but the odds of getting all of the memory foam pieces that were soaked is pretty low unless you take the p
