The slicer is ok but the blade cuts into your hand and is not very easy to clean
The handle keeps coming loose and is difficult to turn to remove the apple peel. Cleaning is not easy either. The apple will do just fine, but you need to make sure you keep the plastic lid on before putting the apple in to remove the skin.
