Review on πŸ”§ Flex Pipe Connector for 2000-2005 VW Beetle, Golf, and Jetta by DNA Motoring by David Carmody

Revainrating 5 out of 5

it worked in the end - 05 gti 1.8t mk4

which is perfect for what it is - there are no bolts, what you see in the photo is what you get. The threads don't really match, so if you use them you'll end up screwing up. You need to order 10mm studs and nuts - the slip is too much. I had to carefully cut and sand the original welds to keep the exact size since I wasn't making any welds. also ordered, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C5R7T5D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - bent and 1 of them used for the turbo side and the other two for the cat side and the silencer. They're stiff so you'll need a vise to bend and hammer them + remove the T-disk mount - drive 1 hour to burn off all the toxic fumes burning out of this thing, ridiculous combustion. O2 sensors also fail while driving until the fumes burn out. - the angle and alignment was perfect - about 2000 miles so far, the welds have not broken. - Your local performance shop that deals with VW should be able to get you an even cheaper one. I wish I had asked her beforehand.
