My kids are having so much fun with these Klutz Eraser kits! I am amazed at how much time they can put into creating something with these and how much fun they have playing with them too. I love that everything is included and the direction booklet is super easy to follow. It has great color photos so my kids can easily understand the steps. This kit and the others we have tried also come with a fun cardboard display to put together. This one comes with a great tiny kitchen that my kids love to play with. I love that they can easily store their creations on the display too. There are lots of options of things to make and ideas for changing the colors and designs.Do be careful when unboxing to make sure you have the tool and the eyes which can get stuck to the packaging. Anything you want to make requires that you first knead the clay so don’t skip that step. My son gets impatient with that part. From there it’s very easy to form the clay as shown in the instructions. I am not crafty at all so I’m very happy at how easy this is to actually do. It’s amazing how putting in the tiny eyes can make almost anything cute! My son tends to be a perfectionist and can get frustrated trying to make his perfect but after the eyes go in he’s always happy with it. The creations are adorable and often cartoonish which is fun. To set them I just put them in the toaster oven and they are very durable. My kids treat them like toys and after lots of play they still look great. We love that this is something we can buy more clay for and do again. Plus it’s a great starting point for encouraging ideas. My kids started by changing the colors and then started coming up with their own ideas to make. This would be a great gift for any child and it would make a fun activity for a play date or siblings. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon and have something fun to show for it!
