Very Disappointed: Trims and Decorations

They were packaged well, bright colors and true to size. I ironed them as directed and they looked and felt great. HOWEVER I did today washed the clothes she was wearing in cold water and on the gentle cycle and the stains were gone in the wash cycle now I have to see them which I think defeats the purpose of the iron on the applique.
