They are great for growing out your white/grey!
I have naturally black hair and wanted the white/grey to show off so instead of looking like I need to dye my roots these clips are great! They go well with my hair and look very natural. I have long hair and didn't have to cut it, but you can if you want. Very realistic, just be careful when you put them away and you don't have to clean them, they are great. There's a lot of them in the pack too, so you don't need to worry about that. I wouldn't wear them to bed or anything but they are comfortable to wear and no one knows you haven't been blinded.
