Review on Bridgestone Turanza T001 205/60 R16 92V summer by Ivana Kovalova ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

Car Skoda Octavia A5 FL, 1.8TSI, Shumka arches. Tires Bridgestone Turanza T001 225/45 R17 were installed from the factory for casting, pressure 2.2. Tire production - Poland. Skated - 5 seasons with a total mileage of 130 t. Km. Tires left for one more season! Of the minuses - Noise and Rigidity, due to the sports orientation of this model. The composition of the rubber is more plastic than rubber, hard cord, a large patch of contact between tires and asphalt. Of the pluses - the lightness of rubber, it keeps well at speed and when changing lanes, both in dry and wet weather, it allows you to fool around and turn the tachometer, while moderate fuel consumption, the road keeps as long as the engine and aerodynamics of the car allow. I accelerated to 180 km / h, and then it’s scary, the car starts to take off but keeps the trajectory. Rubber allowed to fly into turns with an angle of 90 degrees, under the gas release from a speed of 80 km / h, only the ESP pads were set on fire and the rubber held :)) Wear resistance - due to the composition of rubber, which translates into its shortcomings. I recommend it for noisy cars and "athletes" who are ready to put up with noise and harshness for the sake of speed and handling on asphalt. _ I changed my driving style - I changed Turanza to Kumho Ecsta HS51, got tired of the noise and rumble from rubber, and there was nowhere to play pranks, all of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Region were covered with radars, I wanted peace and quiet))

Pros
  • 1. Wear resistance 2. Handling dry and wet 3. Light in weight 4. Fuel-efficient, especially for long distances.
Cons
  • 1. Increased noise and rigidity! 2. On wet grass and muddy primer does not go!
